437 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Flood Water Condition <br /> <br />Chestnut, Lyon & McClay <br /> <br />Streets <br /> <br />Mr, Everett White appeared before the Council, represenl <br />ing property owners on Lyon St. reference to flood <br />waters flowing and draining frqm property in the County <br />onto Lyon, Chestnut and McClay Sts. and stated that, in <br />his opinion, the County should assume full responsibili <br />to correct ~his condition. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, H.M.Neighbour, City Engineer, was instructed <br />to contact the County Engineer and the Board of <br />Supervisors in order to work out some relief from this <br />flood water condition and to report back at ~he next <br />meeting. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids <br /> <br />Fire pumping engine <br /> <br />On motion of Truatee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />the Clerk was authorized to <br />carried,/proceed to open bids for one 750 gallon triple <br /> <br />combination pumping engine, as follows: <br /> <br /> The Seagrave Corporation: One (1) Seagrave Model <br />#S, Series 170, (V-12-18S BMP Motor) 780 gallon triple <br />combination pumping engine, Hose Car & 1SO gallon <br />water tank, $8,878.00 plus State Sales Tax. <br /> American-LaFrance-Foamite Corp: One (1) American <br />LaFrance "Type 780" 12-cylinder 190 H.P. 2-Stage <br />Centrifugal pumping m~d hose car with l§O gallon <br />water tank, in the amount of $8,948.00, plus State <br />Sales Tax. <br /> L.G. (Lee) Ewbank: One model 80 Mack 750 gallon <br />triple combination pumping engine, in the amount of <br />$8,898.00, <br /> One model 88 Mack 750 gallon <br />triple combination pumping engine, in the smount of <br />$9,340.00. <br /> The General Pacific Corporation: One (1) General <br />Model 75-0 Triple Combination Fire Engine with Waterous <br />Model CD-1-7500 Series - Parallel Fire Pump Powered <br />by Waukesha S~KR 517 cubic inch 150 H.P.Motor, in the <br />amount of $8,748.00. <br /> Also, One (1) General Model 75-C Triple Combination <br />Fire Engine with Waterous Model CD-l-7500 Series - <br />Parallel Fire Pump powered by Waukesha 145 GK 779 cubic <br />Inch 200 H.P.
