437 In Re Flood Water Condition Chestnut, Lyon & McClay Streets Mr, Everett White appeared before the Council, represenl ing property owners on Lyon St. reference to flood waters flowing and draining frqm property in the County onto Lyon, Chestnut and McClay Sts. and stated that, in his opinion, the County should assume full responsibili to correct ~his condition. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried, H.M.Neighbour, City Engineer, was instructed to contact the County Engineer and the Board of Supervisors in order to work out some relief from this flood water condition and to report back at ~he next meeting. In Re Bids Fire pumping engine On motion of Truatee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and the Clerk was authorized to carried,/proceed to open bids for one 750 gallon triple combination pumping engine, as follows: The Seagrave Corporation: One (1) Seagrave Model #S, Series 170, (V-12-18S BMP Motor) 780 gallon triple combination pumping engine, Hose Car & 1SO gallon water tank, $8,878.00 plus State Sales Tax. American-LaFrance-Foamite Corp: One (1) American LaFrance "Type 780" 12-cylinder 190 H.P. 2-Stage Centrifugal pumping m~d hose car with l§O gallon water tank, in the amount of $8,948.00, plus State Sales Tax. L.G. (Lee) Ewbank: One model 80 Mack 750 gallon triple combination pumping engine, in the amount of $8,898.00, One model 88 Mack 750 gallon triple combination pumping engine, in the smount of $9,340.00. The General Pacific Corporation: One (1) General Model 75-0 Triple Combination Fire Engine with Waterous Model CD-1-7500 Series - Parallel Fire Pump Powered by Waukesha S~KR 517 cubic inch 150 H.P.Motor, in the amount of $8,748.00. Also, One (1) General Model 75-C Triple Combination Fire Engine with Waterous Model CD-l-7500 Series - Parallel Fire Pump powered by Waukesha 145 GK 779 cubic Inch 200 H.P. Motor, in the amount of $10,369.00. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the bids on fire pumping engine were referred to the Auditor and Chief of the Fire Department for checking and to report back to the Council as soon as possible.
