Ad,ms - <br /> <br />Police Dept. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Beverage Applications <br /> <br />reference advisability of locating a new Junior College <br />adjacent to proposed City park, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee <br />carried, the Minutes <br /> <br />Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />of the meeting of the Executive <br /> <br />Board of the Joint Outfall Sewer, held at Anaheim, on <br />July 6th, 1944, were received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, the Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids <br />covering the furnishing of materials and the install- <br />ation, according to plans, of four heat exchanger coil <br />units consisting of two and one-half inch wrought iron <br />pipe assembled in units of sixteen pipes each, to be <br />installed at the Joint Outfall Sewage Treatment Plant. <br /> <br />Communication from C~x~ef ~f Police relative to establish- <br />ing a loading zone at the third parking meter west of <br />Main St. on the north side of Third St. was received <br />and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney <br />and carried, Clerk was instructed to request Chief of <br />Police to contact property owner to request Council for <br />such loading zone. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br /> carried, communication from Jas. Farrage relative to <br /> traffic situation in the 800 block on Bush St. and <br /> suggesting that parking on west side of Bush St. be <br /> eliminated, was received and filed. <br /> <br />On ;motio~ of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, request of Georgina L. Anderson for a six <br />month's leave Of absence, with privilege of extension, <br />was denied, with regrets. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the resignation of Eldon L. Rodieck, as motor <br />officer, in the Police Department, was accepted with <br />regrets. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion <br />of Trustee Deckert, seconded byCheney and carried, the <br />appointment of Robert D.
