Service In Re Request for driveway Charles Linger In Re ReqmeSt to purchase truck - J.0.Sewer In Re Taxicab Permit On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the bid of the American Cast Iron Pipe Company, was accepted, c~overing the furnishing of 20,000 ft. 6" B&S Mono-cast "Enameline"'centrifugal pipe class 1S0 in 18' lengths for 150 pounds working pressure, at $1.615 and 15,000 ft. 8" B&S Mono-cast "Enameline~ centrifugal pipe class lB0 in 18' lengths for 150 pounds working pressure, at $2.42~. An opinion of the City Attorney was read regarding funds received as a result oS assets turned over to the City from Bowers Trust, and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, communication was received, filed and funds ordered deposited in the General Account. ,, On motion of Trustee ~andy, seconded by Reed and carried, request 9f C.H. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, request of Joint 0utfall Sewer Engineer that City of Santa Aha, as contra¢ lng City, p~rchase one - ~ ton pickup truck, for use at the treatment plant, was received and filed. C.~V.Williams, owner of The Broadway Cab Co. appeared before the Council stating he has leased premises of Rainbow Cab Co. at ~lB-2~ E. 4th St., requesting permit for additional taxicabs and to operate from both locations. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and carried, committee consisting of Attorne Clerk and Lieutenant of Traffic was appointed to meet with ~r. Williams in Clerk's ~fice, at 10~:~.0 A.M. October l~th to determine question tf licenses, insurance and permits on taxicabs On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the City Council adjourned.
