<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br />request of First Church of God for a Church sign at o~ near

<br />First and Lacy Street, was granted provided the sign does not
<br />exceed 18" x 24" and that same has the approval of the City
<br />Engineer.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried,
<br />Resolution No. 262 of the Planning Commission was adopted and
<br />variance application of John Spykerman et al was granted to permit
<br />a garage attached to proposed mortuary to extend east 25 feet into
<br />the R-1 District, or 175 feet east of the east line of North Main
<br />Street, and to permit a parking lot to extend 100 feet east of
<br />proposed building into R-1 District or 275 feet from the east line
<br />of North Main Street in connection with said proposed mortuary on
<br />an irregularly shaped parcel of land on the east side of Main
<br />Street between Edgewood Road and Santiago Park.

<br />period of six months and placing of table on sidewalk subject to
<br />approval of Chief of Police.

<br />copy of Minutes of Board of Supervisors granting ~-equest of City
<br />for permission to close Delhi Road between ~ain and Bristol Street
<br />for 45 days starting July 27, 1949, for the purpose of constructi~
<br />the storm sewer, was received and filed.
