<br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br />following Ordinance entitled.~

<br /> "Ordinance Amending Zoning Ordinance No. 1074"
<br />
<br />to reclassify certain property, being property located on the
<br />south~side of E. 1st St., between McClay and Lyon Streets, from
<br />the R-2 District to the C-2 District, in accordance with app-
<br />lication of R.A. Turner, was read, considered, designated
<br />Ordinance No. 1268 and passed by the following vote:

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the
<br />Minutes of the Executive Board of the Joint Outfall Sewer Meeting
<br />held at Anaheim, August 4th, 1949, were received, approved and
<br />filed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and ca,tied, the
<br />demands as audited by the Finance Committee were approv, ed and
<br />
<br />Clerk authorized to issue warrants covering demands.

<br />The report of the Chief of Police was heard, and on motion of
<br />Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the petition
<br />protesting dancing, reverly and noise caused by dances held by
<br />our Lady of~ Guadalupe Church, was received and filed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Tr. ustee Reed, seconded .by Martin and carried, the
<br />request of Santa Ana-Tustin Community Chest for permission to
<br />have their red feather emblem with the word "give" painted on the
<br />sidewalks, at certain corners, was denied.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the
<br />Clerk was instructed to notify the County Sanitation District thai
