<br />Memo was read from City Auditor advising that attempt was made to
<br />
<br />negotiate for purchase of Lot 213, Tract No. 1192, for street
<br />
<br />purposes and that He~ry Cox, owner of lot, would not consider
<br />
<br />less than $2500.00. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by
<br />
<br />Cheney and carried, memo w~s received and filed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the
<br />
<br />City Auditor was authorized to secure quotations for purchase of
<br />
<br />automobile for use of the Police Department.
<br />
<br />Memo report was read from City Auditor advising that arrangements
<br />
<br />have been made with Wm. L. Faulkner to prepare specifications for
<br />
<br />toilet facilities third floor, City Hall, and on motion of Trustee
<br />
<br />Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, report was received and
<br />
<br /> filed.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed,
<br />
<br />seconded by Chandler and carried, the
<br />
<br />plans for the construction of 1520' of 21" vitrified clay pipe and
<br />2500' of 24" vitrified clay pipe sanitary sewer on Bristol Street,
<br />between Delhi Road and Edinger Street, were approved.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the
<br />
<br />following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br />"Resolution authorizing and directing the
<br />City Clerk to advertise for bids for the
<br />construction of 1520' of 21" vitrified
<br />clay pipe and 2500' of 24" vitrified clay
<br />pipe sanitary sewer on Bristol Street,
<br />between Delhi Road and Edinger Street, in
<br />the City of Santa Aha, and fixing the
<br />prevailing wage rate"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3841 and passed by
<br />
<br />the following vote:
<br />
<br />Ayes, Trustees W.J.Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler,
<br /> J.W.Martin, Jr. Virgil H. Reed,
<br /> Allen A. Mandy.
