Declaring Intent. to vacate portions of certain streets & alleys In Re Ord. regulating parking meters In Re Ord. est. rental charges - Bowl On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution protesting granting of the petition and application of the Pacific Electric Railway Company, a Corporation, for authority to discontinue passenger service on its line th~u~h Santa Ana, California, and m~ntain said line for freight movement only" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3~64 and passed by t~e follqwing ~ote: Ayes, Trustees W.J.Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler, Virgil H. Reed, Allen A. Mandy, R. Carson Smith. Noes, Trustees None Absent, Trustees None On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, thee City Attorney was instructed to prepare Resolution denying variance application of Katt~yn Blakley to permit an elementary school on Lot 8 of Tract No. 721, known ~s ~14 Owens Drive, in accordance with recommendation of the Planning Commission. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded ~y Cheney and carried, th, folloMing Resolution entitled: "Rssolution denying Variance requested by Variance No. 183" was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 375S and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees ~.J.Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler~ Virgil ~. Reed, Allen A. Mandy, R. Carson Smith. None None No protests were received and in accordance with hearing set in Ordinance No. 1940, to vacate portions of certain streets and alleys, on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carrie~, the following Ordinance entitled: "An'Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana Declaring the Intentio~ to vacate portions of certain streets and alleys within said City describing those portions proposed to be vacated, and fixing the time and place for hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the p~posed vacation" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second read%ng. On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1191 and Ordinance regulating parking meters in the City of Santa Ana, and amending Ordinance No. 1P30 Amendatory to Ordinance No. llgl" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carr£ed? the following Ordinance entitled; "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Ana establishing rental charges and regulations for the use of the Santa Ana Municipal Bowl" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. --i
