City Council met in.~egular session. Meeting called to order by ~he ~ayor. Present: Trustees Absent: Trustees W.J.Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler, Allen A. Mandy, Virgil H. Reed, R. Carson Smith. None Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of April 4, 1949, further re~ding of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried. In Re On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, Bid Aerial Ladder the Cle~ was authorized to open the one bid covering furnishing of aerial ladder for the Park Department, as follows: Bid oF Los Angeles Ladder Co.:. One 0nly No..5030 Revolving Aerial Sales Tax, if ~plicable. Ladder, $1~50.00 net, plus On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, bid was referred to committee for reco~aendation.
