Guard <br /> <br />In Re <br />Addressograph <br />Water Dept. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Sewage Disposal <br />U.S.Naval Air Sta. <br />N 12~S-44643 <br /> <br />establishing loading zones on the west side of Mortimer Street <br />between Stafford and Fruit Streets, located as follows: The <br />south 2§ feet of the north 121.$ feet; and on the east side of <br />French Street between Sixth and Stafford Streets, located as <br />follows: the south 25 feet of the north 112.8 feet, was read, <br /> <br />considered, designated ResOlution No. 3729 and passed by the <br />following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees W.J.Cheney, Courtney H. Chandler, <br /> Allen A. Mandy, Virgil H. Reed, <br /> R. Carson Smith. <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> Absent, Trustees None <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the <br />~following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution approving map showing a portion <br /> of Vance Street proposed to be vacated and <br /> abandoned" <br /> <br /> was tabled until deposit is made by Standard Oil~Company and <br /> E.B.Moritz. <br /> <br /> On ~otion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the <br /> request of Bert L. Holland, M.AoL. Authorized Organizer, <br /> Technocracy Inc. for permission to erect and maintain highway <br /> symbolization markers, was denied. <br /> <br /> The committee reported that the only site available for use of <br /> National Guard Armory, with a minimum of three acres, preferably <br /> five, is located in the Delhi area, and on motion of Trustee <br /> <br /> Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, Clerk was instructed to <br /> notify Captain Chester G. Briner that this area is available if <br /> suitable to their needs. <br /> <br /> On m6tion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the <br /> Clerk was~authorized to advertise for bids covering the <br /> of addressograph machine for use in the Water Department; bids to <br /> be opened January l?th, 1949. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the <br /> Mayor was authorized to execute Contract N123s-44643, between <br /> the City of Santa Aha and the United States of America covering <br /> disposal of sewage from the 'Naval Air Station, Santa Ana, beginni~ <br /> July 1st, 1948 and continuing in effect until further no~ice. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carried, the <br /> City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />Mayor of the City'of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />City C~rk <br /> <br /> <br />
