On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, map of Tract No. 1323 was approved and proper authorities authorized to sign and certified check in the amount of $10,000.00, submitted by k%met C. Rogers, was accepted as bond covering improvements in said Tract, which is located west of Flower St. and north of Santa Clara. Communication was read from Public Utilities Commission reference Resolution adopted by City Council on April 4, 1949, protesting granting of petition of Pacific Electric Ry. Co. for authority to discontinue passenger service. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, co~nunication was received, filed and Attorney authorized to attend hearing to be held May 11, 1949. --!
