<br />were referred to cd,mitres for checking and to report back at next

<br />meeting. Chairma~ appointed City Engineer,

<br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Reed,
<br />
<br />seconded by Martin-and carried, the bid of the American Cast Iron
<br />
<br />Pipe Co., was accepted covering the furnishing of 5000 ft. 12#
<br />
<br />cast iron pipe at $3.113 per foot.

<br />No protests having been received, on motion of Trustee Chandler,
<br />
<br />seconded by Nartin and Carried, the following Resolution entitled=
<br />
<br />#A Resolution ordering the vacation, abandonment,
<br />and closing of a portion of Brown Street, as
<br />described in Ordinance of Intention Number 1274"
<br />
<br />was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3889 and passed by
<br />
<br />the following voter

<br />Ave., Borcha~d Ave.-and Edlnger St., was approved; bond in the

<br />amount of $15,000.00 accepted and proper authorities authorized to
<br />
<br />sign .map.

<br />seconded by Martin and carried, an
<br />
<br />Ordinance to be known as the Administrative Electrical Code, crest-
<br />
<br />lng the office of Electrical Inspector, etc., was tabled for ~wo
<br />
<br />weeks.

<br />On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee

<br />Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, Map of Tract No. 1307 was
<br />
<br />approved covering completed improvements on a portion of Twelfth
<br />
<br />Street between Pacific and Artesia Streets, and proper authorities
<br />
<br />authorized to sign map.
