On motion <br /> of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, communication <br /> <br /> was tabled until next meeting. <br /> # <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the.City Engineer and on motion of Trustee <br /> Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the Clerk was authorized t( <br /> advertise for bids covering the furnishing of 5,000 feet of 12 <br /> inch, bell and spigot enameline cast iron pipe, class 150, <br /> manufactured in ~ocor~ance with Federal Specifications W~-P-421 <br /> <br /> Type I or Type II; bids to be opened January 3rd, 1950. <br /> . <br /> On recommendation of the City Engineer, and on motion of Trustee <br /> Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the City Treasurer was <br /> authorized to withdraw $50,000.00 of bond issue money now invested <br /> in Government Bonds and deposit said amount in the Storm Sewer <br /> <br /> Construction Fund. <br /> # <br /> On motion of T~stee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the <br /> <br /> reports of the Building Department, Judge's office, Police-Depart- <br /> and <br /> ment.,~/J~venile Bumeau, for the month of November, 1949, and report~ <br /> <br /> for the Mosquito Abatement District for the period June to <br /> <br /> September, 1959, were received and filed. <br /> # <br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, <br /> the demands as audited.by the Finance Committee were approved and <br /> <br /> Clerk authorized to issue warrants covering demands. <br /> # <br /> The recommendation of the Planning Commission that the Commission <br /> initiated application be denied to reclassify certain properties <br /> on the four corners of Anahurst and Flower Streets, from R-1 <br /> residence to the "C" Commercial District was read and on motion <br /> of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, application for <br /> <br /> change of.zone wae denied.and recommendation upheld. <br /> # <br /> <br /> On motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, <br /> communication from City Engineer recommending that Flower Street, <br /> from the north line of Edinger Street to the north line of Delhi <br /> Road, and that portion of Delhi Road lying within the City Limits <br /> from the east line of Bristol Street to the west line of Main <br /> Street, together with Resolutiondeclaring such streets as through <br /> streets, were refer-reA to the Traffic Safety Commission for <br /> <br /> recommendation. <br /># <br /> On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the <br /> following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution concerning parking limitations under Ordinance No. 1030" <br /> <br /> <br />
