No. 3893 Est. 2O min.zone So.Main btn Russell & Wilshire On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the Mayor and Clerk were authorized to execute termination of lease betwee~ City of Santa'Ana and Alcoholics Anonymous of Orang, ~County on Rooms 210, 211, 212 and 213 at 1104 W. 8th St., effeo$- ire December 12, 1949. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, Map of Tract No. 1370 covering improvements on No. Towner between Borchard and Russell, and on Russell Ave., and Wilshire Avenu~ Borcha~d, was approved; bond in,he amount of $10,000.00 accepted and proper authorities authorized to sign map. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, Annual. report for 1949 and December report of Police Department, Annual report for 1949 and December report of Juvenile Bin-eau, quarterly report of Recreation Department and Annual report of Fire Department, were received and filed. . Communication and Resolution No. 296 of t21e Planning Commission were read recommending reclassification of Lots 3 to 9 inclusive and Lots 13 to 36 inclusive in Tract No. 1265 from the R-1 and R-2 DiStricts to the R-3 (multiple-family) Residence District, in accordance with application of Griffith Company. On motion of Trustee Chandler, Seconded by Martin and carried, the Clerk was instructed t0 publish a notice of hearing in a newspaper of 'circulation, ten days prior to the next meeting of the Council on ~eb~uary 6th, 1950, relative to rec~ssiflcation of above property I. On motion'of Trustee Reed, seconded Iby Oheney and carried~ the variance' application of l~s. Naomi Jordan, 2049 S. Sycamore St., was tabled until next meeting. # Communication and Resolution No. 298 of the Planning Commission were read recommending reclassification of all lots in Tract No. 1339 from #C" District to the R-1 Residence District; said propert being a portion of the land now in the "C" District Between Flower and'Lowell Streets, lying north of Glenwood Place, in accordance with Commission initiated application. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the Clerk was instructed to publish a notice of hearing in a newspaper of general circulation, ten d~ys prior to the next meeting of the Council on February 65h, 1950, relative to reclassification of above property. On motion of T~ustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved that variance be denied ofBrenhilda G. Church to establish two residences on a lot at 1338 Orange Avenue, and variance denied. # On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Chandler and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution concerning parking limitations under Ordinance No. 1030# establishing a t~enty-minute zone on the west side of So.
