Chairman appointed Trusts Cheney and City Engineer, as oommit~ee. # 0ommunication was read from Rutan, Tucker, Howell & Tucker, adoption of Attorneys for Orange County Water District,requesting / Resolutlo: permitting the Did-trier to assign or sub-lease a portion,of their space stol04 West 8th Street. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin aqd carried, City Attorney was instructed to prepare Resolution allowing sub-leasing ef such space. On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and carried, request of Salvation~ Army for permission to place placards on the light standards during the week of May 22nd to 27th, was granted. # Communication' was read from Traffic Safety Commission recommending that center parkway on North Flower Street be eliminated and that the area be filled; also communication from Forgy, Reinhaus & Forg representing' ~everal Flower Street residents protesting removal of center parkway or the connection of Flower Street with the Freeway which would tend to increase speeding. On motion cf Trustee Reed seconded by Chandler and carried, Chair~=- was authorized to appoint a committee to investigate and report back.
