<br />On motion of TxeAatee Martin, seconded by Chandler and carried,
<br />the applications of W~.H.Brownlee, William Franklin Rutherford,
<br />William H. Averett, Howard L. Murphy, ichard J. Jones ~o d~lve
<br />taxicabs and Lewis B. ~bcock to drive bus were granted and
<br />permits ordered issued.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and ca~ried,
<br />bond of Jlmmie Kazaroff, written by the United States Fidelity
<br />and Gttaranty Company, in the amount of $5,000.00, covering the
<br />purchase of garbage, during the term beginning August 1, 1949
<br />and ending July 31st, 1952, was accepted and proper authorities
<br />
<br />authorized to sign.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried,
<br />statement of receipts and disbursements of Santa Aha Memorial
<br />Park Fund, submitted by Die~nl & Co., for the period July 1, 1949
<br />to December 31, 1949, was received, filed and Clerk instructed to
<br />furnish copy of such statement to Mr. Chas. H. Fontius, Chairman,

<br />Citizens Committee.

<br />the reports of the Building Department, Judge's offi0e, and Police
<br />Department, for the month of February, 1950, were received and

<br />On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee
<br />Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the Clerk was authorized to
<br />advertise for bids covering the furnishing of 5000 ft. of 4 inch,
<br />Class 150, bell and spigot, cement lined, cast iron water pipe;

<br />bids to be opened April 3rd, 1950.

<br />Attorney be instructed to prepare a Resolution~establish_ing a
<br />set-baCk line on th2 north aide of Delhi Road ~0 feet from the

<br />center line of said road, between Bristol and Main Streets, aa
<br />recommended by the Planning Commission.

<br />the recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved that a
<br />variance be granted to Eva Mae Griset to permit a lot 100' x 135'
<br />and a portion of an abandoned alley adjacent thereto to be
<br />divided into ttzree lots of approximately 5000 square feet each,
<br />said property being located at the northeast corner of St.An~ewa
<br />Place and Evergreen Street, and variance granted.

<br />a Resolution requesting the County for a grant of aid in the amour
<br />of $~0,473.00 out of the County's apportionment of the California
<br />Highway User's Tax Fund, to improve Bristol Street from Wilshire
