<br />being a portion of the land now in the "C" District between Flower
<br />and Lowell Streets, lying north of Glenwood Place, was read, con-
<br />sidered, designated Ordinance No. 1285 and passed by the following

<br />Washington Avenue between Lacy and Poinsettia Streets, located as
<br />follows: the east 50 feet of the west 467.5 feet, was read, con-
<br />sidered, designated Resolution No. 3910 and passed by the

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Martin and carried, the
<br />petition signed by 48 downtown merchants opposing parallel parking
<br />on Broadway was denied and parking to remain as established.

<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by 0handler and carried, a
<br />Resolution authorizing employment of Attorney to clear title of
<br />property owned by the member cities of the Joint Outfall Sewer
<br />Agreement was tabled.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, Minute
<br />Order dated Feb. 20, 1950, was corrected to permit employment of
<br />Z.B.West to check and acquire quiet title to right-of-way for
<br />existing trunk sewers from the City of Santa Aha to the treatment
<br />plant.

<br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by ~artin and carried,
<br />
<br />Guy Penn was appointed as a member of the Librsmy Board to fill
<br />
<br />the unexpired term of Walter Kern; term to expire June 30, 1950.

<br />E. Maurioe Tallon was appointed as a member of the Library Board
<br />to fill the unexpired term of Winthrop Gordon; term to expire
