Mitchell and Manuel <br />Munlz, Jr., to drive taxicabs were granted and permits ordered <br /> <br /> i s sued. <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, the <br />application of Lee R. Proctor to conduct the business of dealing <br /> <br /> in motor vehicles at 409 E. 1st St., was granted. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, Map of <br />Tract No. 1383 was approved covering installation of sidewalks, <br />curbs, pavement, sewer mains, laterals, water mains and services, <br />on Camden Place and St. Anne Place, being Bristol Manor No. 3; <br />bond in the amount of $15,000.00 accepted and proper authorities <br /> <br />authorized to sign map. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, <br />Resolutions from City of Orange and City of Fullerton authorizing <br />employment of legal counsel to clear title of property owned by <br />member cities of the Joint 0utfall Sewer Agreement, were received <br /> <br />and filed. <br />. <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried,Juvenile <br />Bureau report for the month of February, 1950, was received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the <br />Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids covering the <br />of gasoline for a ten months period; bids to be opened April l?th <br /> <br />195o. <br /># <br /> <br />No written or oral protests were received referenoe amendment .to <br />Zoning Ordinance to reclassify Lots 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 and 46 <br />of Tract No. 1265, from the R-1 Residence District to the R-2 <br />Residence District; said lots being on the west side of South <br />~oadway between Borchard Avenue and Edinger Street, in <br />with application of William Rohrbacher, and on motion of Trustee <br />Reed, seconded by Cheney and carried, the City Attorney was <br />instructed to prepare Ordinance to rezone the property. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and <br />granted to George L. Taney, applicable to Lots 25 and 26 in Block <br />"C? of Tract 603, which property is at the southeast corner of <br />Fair,iow Ave. and ~istol St. to permit allowable floor area of <br />proposed store building to be increased to 4000 sq. ft.,. with <br />clarification of that. paragraph in Planning Commission Resolution <br />No. 311 reference rear yard requirement to read as follows, #and <br />to permit a waiver 'of rear yard and a portion of the front yard <br />so that building may extend from the rear lot line to a point 15 <br /> <br />feet south of the north property line#. <br />On motion of Trustee Chene~, seconded by Martin and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and varianc <br />granted to Jessie F.
