Deckert None W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman On recommendation of the City Auditor and on motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare a Resolution covering the purchase of property located on Owens Drive, describi as a triangular lot in Lot 7, Tract No. 721, in the amount of $250.00, and to report back at the n~ext me et ing. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried~ . Clerk was instructed to publish a notice of hearing in a newspaper of general circulation, ten days prior to next meeting of the Council on December 1Vth, relative to change of zone from R-1 to C-1 District on property located on the east side of South Main St. near the old sugar factory, in accordance with the application of Clara M. Coleman. The City Attorney was granted more time to investigate the petition of property owners in the vicinity of the west side of Halladay St. between Myrtle and Bishop Sts. and extending west throu~ja Hickory St.,$gainst smudge pots being used within the City limits. On motion of Trustee Dixon, the City Council adjourned. seconded by Haan and carried City Clerk Council Chambers Santa Ana City Hall December 1Vth, 1945. V:30 P.M. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. Present: Trustees Dale G. Deckert~ W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman Absent: Trustees None The Clerk commenced the resding of the Minutes and each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of December 3rd, 1945, further reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of -Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried. .d
