On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and csrried, the following Resolution req~estfmg Grant of State Funds for Post-War Planning, in the amount of ~2,627.00 covering improvements to Santiago Creek to Provide necessary flood control, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3426 and passed by the follow- lng vote: Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman Noes, Trustees None Absent, Trustees None On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Resolution requesting Grant of State ~unds for Post War Planning, in the amount of ~10,O00.00 covering construction and reconstruction of Urban Street pavements, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3427 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, ~.J.Cheney~ Asa Hoffman Noes, Trustees None Absent, Trustees None No w~itten or oral protests were received against the rezoning of property from R-1 to C-1 District located on the east side of South Main St. near the old sugar factory, in accordance with the application of Clara M. Coleman. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried, the City ^ttorney was instructed to prepare necessary Ordinance covering the rez~ning of this propert On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, co~nunicatioD and Resolution No. 82 of the Plaoning for Variance Commission approving application/of W.T.Ridgeway to expan~ present building by adding store room, at ?02 E. 2nd St. was received ~l filed. ~n motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and No. 53 carried, Resolution~of the Planning Corm~ission approving application for Variance of Doris B. Welliver to remodel garage for hairdressing parlor, located at 1808 N. Ross St., was received and filed.
