No. 41 of the Planning Commission was <br />sustained granting the variance on Lots 13 and 15 on <br />the application of the Case Swayne Co. to erect a ware- <br />house and denying it on Lot ll in Block "B", Gardner <br />Villa Tract. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br /> <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br />"Resolution of the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Aha Calling a Special Election to <br />Submit to a Vote of the Electors of said <br />City an Ordinance Authorizing a Contract <br />between the City Council of said City of <br />Santa Ana and the Board of Administration, <br /> California State Employees Retirement <br /> System, providing for the Participation of <br /> said Subdivision in said State Employees <br /> Retirement System Makin$ its Employees <br /> Members of said System," <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution <br /> <br />No. 3397 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees <br /> <br />Dale G. Haan, W.J.Cheney, <br />Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None <br />Absent,Trustees None <br /> <br />The opinion of the City Attorney reference request of <br />S.H.Finley Co. to repair the building at the northwest <br />corner of 4th and Spurgeon Sts. without requiring the <br />installation of a fire sprinkler system in the basement <br />was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the opinion of the Attorney was concurred in <br />and request to repair building without installation of <br />fire sprinkler system in basement, was denied. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Taxicab Committee and on <br />motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried <br />the request of the City Limousine Service to locate a <br />limousine stand at the northeast corner of Mortimer <br /> <br /> <br />
