<br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and
<br />
<br />carried, the applications of John F. Dolan and William
<br />
<br />Loadvine to conduct Midget Auto Races at the Municipal
<br />
<br />Bowl were denied without prejudice and applicants to be
<br />
<br />so notified.
<br />
<br />A petition was presented signed by 132 residents and
<br />
<br />property owners located southeast of the City of Santa
<br />
<br />Ana requesting that an election be called to annex the
<br />
<br />following described property:
<br /> Beginning at the northeasterly corner of Tract No.
<br /> 284, Chanticleer Manor, as per map thereof recorded
<br /> in Book 14, pages I and 2 of Miscellaneous Maps,
<br /> Records of said Orange County, said point being on
<br /> the westerly extensi~n of the northerly line of Tract
<br /> No. 860, McMadden Home Tract No. 4, as per map thereof
<br /> recorded in Book 19, pages i and 2 of MisCellaneous
<br /> Maps, records of said Orange County, said point being
<br /> also on the east boundary line of the City of Santa
<br /> Aha; thence easterly along said westerly extension and
<br /> said northerly line of Tract No. 860 to the north-
<br /> easterly corner of said Tract No. 860, said northeast
<br /> corner being a point on the Westerly line of Tract No.
<br /> 696, Central Manufacturing District, Section No. l, as
<br /> per map thereof recorded in Book 20, pages 48 and 46
<br /> of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County;
<br /> thence continuing easterly along the easterly extension
<br /> of said northerly line of Tract No. 860 to a point
<br /> which is 125 feet east of the east line of Standard
<br /> Avenue, as said Avenue is shown on said Tract No. 696;
<br /> thence south parallel to and distant 128 feet from
<br /> the east line cf said Standard Avenue to the south
<br /> line of said Tract No. 696, being a point in Delhi
<br /> Road; thence west along the south line of said Tract
<br /> No. 696 and its westerly extension to the northeast
<br /> corner of Emmett's Addition to South Santa Ana, as per
<br /> map thereof recorded in Book 8, page 13 of Miscellaneou
<br /> Maps, Records of said Orange County, being an angle
<br />· point in the boundary line of the City of Santa Ana;
<br /> thence west along the north line of said Emmett's
<br /> Addition, being along the boundary line of the City of
<br /> Santa Ana to a point in the southerly extension of the
<br /> east line of Tract No. 638, Furman Tract No. l, as
<br /> per map thereof recorded in Book 19, page 17 of
<br /> Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County,
<br /> being an angle point in the boundary line of the City
<br /> of Santa Aha; thence North along the east line of said
<br /> Tract No. 638 and the East line of said Tramt No. 284,
<br /> being also along the boundary line of the City of
<br /> Santa Aha to the northeasterly corner of said Tract
<br /> No. 284, being the point of beginning.
<br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and
<br />
<br />carried, the petition was referred to the City Attorney
<br />
<br />for checking and to report back at the next meeting.
<br />
<br />Pursuant to Resolutio~ of Intention, the Clerk read the
<br />offer of Ray De Brouwer to purchase Lot 2 Tract No. 43,
<br />located in the City of Santa Ana, in the amoUnt of
<br />
<br />t 40.oo.
<br />
<br />No person being present desirous of raising the bid of
<br />
<br />Ray De Brouwer, on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded
<br />
<br />by Haan and carried, the Resolution For Sale of Real
<br />Property was read, considered, designated Resolution
<br />
<br />No. 3416 and passed by the following vote:
<br />
