106 In Re Advertise for bids Aerial Ladder Truck In Re Quotations for purchase of gasoline storage tank In Re Request of Planning Cormuission APPROVED: ~ y o ~h City of Santa Ana On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, the Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for the furnishing of one Service Aerial Ladder Truck to be of three section telescoping type, constructed entire of metal and to extend to the height of 75 feet, in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the City Purchasing Agent; bids to be opened November 5, 1945. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, quotations as submitted to the Purchasing Agent covering the ptwchase of a gasoline storage tank to be placed in the City Yard were referred to the City Engineer and Mayor to report back at the next meeting. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, the request of the Planning Commission that be furnished with an up-to-date Zoning Ordinance was again referred to the City Attorney to report back at the next meeting as to progress made; Clerk to advise the Attorney of this action. the On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, the City Council adjourned. City Clerk City COunci~ met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. Present: Trustees Council Chambers Santa Ana City Hall November 5th, 1948. Dale G. Deckert, W. Eugene Dixon, Otto R. Haan, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. Absent: Trustees None The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of October 15th, 1945, further reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of T~ustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried. In Re Bids Aerial Ladder Truck 7:30 P.M. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, the Clerk was authorized to open bids for the furnishing of one Service Aerial Ladder truck to be of three section telescoping type, constructed entirely of metal and to extend to the height of 75 feet. Bid of The Eeagrave Corporation, amount of $18,228.00 plus 2~% State Sales Tax. Alternate bid, amount of $16,758.00, plus 22~o State Sales Tax.
