106 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Advertise for bids <br /> <br />Aerial Ladder Truck <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Quotations for purchase <br /> <br />of gasoline storage tank <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Request of Planning <br /> <br />Cormuission <br /> <br />APPROVED: ~ <br /> <br /> y o ~h City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids <br />for the furnishing of one Service Aerial Ladder Truck to <br />be of three section telescoping type, constructed entire <br />of metal and to extend to the height of 75 feet, in <br />accordance with specifications on file in the office of <br />the City Purchasing Agent; bids to be opened November 5, <br />1945. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, quotations as submitted to the Purchasing Agent <br />covering the ptwchase of a gasoline storage tank to be <br />placed in the City Yard were referred to the City <br />Engineer and Mayor to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, the request of the Planning Commission that <br />be furnished with an up-to-date Zoning Ordinance was <br />again referred to the City Attorney to report back at <br />the next meeting as to progress made; Clerk to advise <br />the Attorney of this action. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br /> <br />carried, <br /> <br />the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />City COunci~ met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees <br /> <br />Council Chambers <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall <br /> <br />November 5th, 1948. <br /> <br />Dale G. Haan, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None <br /> <br />The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and each <br />member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of October 15th, 1945, further reading of the <br />Minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of <br />T~ustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids <br /> <br />Aerial Ladder Truck <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, the Clerk was authorized to open bids for the <br />furnishing of one Service Aerial Ladder truck to be of <br />three section telescoping type, constructed entirely of <br />metal and to extend to the height of 75 feet. <br /> <br />Bid of The Eeagrave Corporation, amount of $18,228.00 <br /> plus 2~% State Sales Tax. <br />Alternate bid, amount of $16,758.00, plus 22~o State <br /> Sales Tax. <br /> <br /> <br />
