No. 94 Edith Thatcher In Re Warrant payable to Mr. & Mrs. Beutel On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Accepting Deed" to a strip of land 20 feet wide from the center line of Newhope Street northeasterly to Station 187542.43 for right of way for the reconstruction of the Santa Aha Main Sewer, was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3811 and passed by the fell~wing vote: Ayes, Councilmen: Noes, Councilmen: Absent, Councilmen: W. Eugmne Dixon, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman None Otto R. Haan, Dale G. Deckert On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, the Clerk was authorized to draw warrants cover- ing righ~ of way for the reconstruction of the'Santa Ana Main Sewer, as follows: A. Manderscheid, in the amount of $10.00 Eugene Griset and Lula Griset, in the amount of $10.00 A.J. Gisler and Mary A. Gisler, in the amount of Eugene Griset and Lula Griset, in the amount of $10.00 Clara E. Blackwell, in the amount of $10.00 H.L. Dady and Jennie May Dady, in the amount of $859.80 A.J.Gisler and Mary A. Gisler, in the amount of $80.00 On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, the request of Santa Ana Tent & Awning Co. to install a sidewalk stationary canopy at 2032 N. Main St. for A.B.Cary, was granted. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, Building Inspector and Planning Consultant were appointed as a committee, to report back at the next meeting of the Council, on protest of Ruth Geist relative to operation of garage business at 1088 West 1st Street. Communication and Resolution No. 94 of the Planning Commission granting variance application of Edith Thatcher to use the existing store building at 802 Fruit St. only for a grocery store or confectionery until Nov. 1, 19A8, the term of the existing lease, was read and on motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and carried, action of the Planning Commission wam approved. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Dixon and carried, the Clerk was authorized to draw warrant payable to Chas. R. Beutel and wife, in the amount of to be exchanged for deed to property on North Flower Street, now subject of condemnation suit.
