277 <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Extension on time <br /> <br />on City Sales Tax <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br /> on City Sales Tax <br />carried extension of time/w%s allowed tbefollowing <br /> <br />applicants: Shell Oil Company, Van ts Markets, General <br />Petroleum Corporation, Alpha Beta Food Markets and <br />Gallen Kamp,s provided the same extension of time has <br />been granted by the State Board of Equalization on Stat~ <br />reports covering State Sales Tax. <br /> <br />On m~tion of Trustee Dixon, a®oonded by Cheney and <br />cax~ied, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br />Council Chamber <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall <br /> <br />October 21st, 1946. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. <br /> <br />Present: Trustees: Otto R. Haan, Dale G. Deckert, <br /> W. J. Chensy, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees: W. Eugene Dixon. <br /> <br />The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and each <br />member of the City Council having received copies of the <br />Minutes of Oct. 7th, 1946, further reading of the minutes <br />was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee <br />Cheney, seconded by Trustee Hahn and carried. <br /> <br />In re <br /> <br />Offer of <br /> <br />Roland Rabe <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Loading Zone <br /> <br />3rd & Broadway <br /> <br />'Y:30 P.M. <br /> <br />An offer was read from Roland Rabe to purchase two <br />stainless steel sinks located in the Headquarters <br />building on West 8th Street. On motion of Trustee <br />Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Chairman <br />was authorized to contact Mr. Rabe and advise him that <br />if said property was of no use to any other organization <br />in the building the same will be sold according to offer <br />made. <br /> <br />Communication of Calvin C. Flint was read requesting <br />that the loading zone at Broadway & Third Street be re- <br />located on Third Street at the corner of Broadway. On <br />motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried, <br />the request of Calvin C. Flint was re~erred to the <br />Street Commissioner and City Engineer to report back <br />at the next meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
