277 In Re Extension on time on City Sales Tax On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and on City Sales Tax carried extension of time/w%s allowed tbefollowing applicants: Shell Oil Company, Van ts Markets, General Petroleum Corporation, Alpha Beta Food Markets and Gallen Kamp,s provided the same extension of time has been granted by the State Board of Equalization on Stat~ reports covering State Sales Tax. On m~tion of Trustee Dixon, a®oonded by Cheney and cax~ied, the City Council adjourned. Council Chamber Santa Ana City Hall October 21st, 1946. City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by Mayor Hoffman. Present: Trustees: Otto R. Haan, Dale G. Deckert, W. J. Chensy, Asa Hoffman. Absent: Trustees: W. Eugene Dixon. The Clerk commenced the reading of the Minutes and each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of Oct. 7th, 1946, further reading of the minutes was dispensed with and approved on motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Trustee Hahn and carried. In re Offer of Roland Rabe In Re Loading Zone 3rd & Broadway 'Y:30 P.M. An offer was read from Roland Rabe to purchase two stainless steel sinks located in the Headquarters building on West 8th Street. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the Chairman was authorized to contact Mr. Rabe and advise him that if said property was of no use to any other organization in the building the same will be sold according to offer made. Communication of Calvin C. Flint was read requesting that the loading zone at Broadway & Third Street be re- located on Third Street at the corner of Broadway. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and carried, the request of Calvin C. Flint was re~erred to the Street Commissioner and City Engineer to report back at the next meeting.
