No. 104 of the l~lanning Oommission <br /> recommending approval of application <br />/of C. B. Knickerbocker to change the zone on property de- <br /> <br /> scribed as the east 88 feet of the west one-$alf of the <br /> block bounded as follows: On the East by North Main St.; <br /> on the West by No. Sycamore Street; on the North by West <br /> <br /> Washington Avenue; and on the south by West Tenth Street <br /> were read <br /> from R-3 to C-1 zone~ and on motion of Trustee Deckert, <br /> <br /> seconded by Cheney and carried, the Clerk was instructed <br /> to publish a notice of hearing in a newspaper of general <br /> circulation, ten days prior to the next meeting of the <br /> Council on Nov. 4th, 1946, relative to reclassification of <br /> the territory described above. <br /> <br /> Communication and Resolution No. 102 of the Planning Comm- <br /> ission denying variance application of Mrs. Ils M. Huyler <br /> to convert her roaming house at 801 Spurgeon Street to <br /> offices for use ~f Doctors, was read, and on motion of <br /> Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, action of <br /> the Planning Commission was accepted. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haa~n and carried, <br /> the following Ordinance entitled:" <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha establishing <br /> set-back lines along a portion of Bristol Street." <br /> <br /> was read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 1184 and <br /> passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees: Otto R. Ha~n, Dale G. Deckert, W. J. Cheney, Asa Hoffman <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees: None. <br /> <br /> Absent, Trustees: W. Eugene Dixon. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and carried, <br /> the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Zoning Ordinance No. 10~4" <br /> <br /> and that sheet No. 32 of the Districting Map of the City of <br /> Santa Ana, be amended to reclassify as C-2 all property now <br /> classified as R-2 in accordance with the application of <br /> Lawrence Lumber Company and that Sheet No. A3 of said map <br /> be amended to reclassify as M-1 all property now classified <br /> as R-1 and C-2 in accordance with an application for re- <br /> <br />classification of a certain district <br />considered, designated Ordinance No. <br />following vote: <br /> <br />in DeMi, was read, <br /> <br />1188 and passed by the <br /> <br /> <br />
