Parks, 819 W. 4th St. <br />suggesting that a flash 'on and off' light be installed <br />at the stop sign on the north side of Flower and 4th <br />St. intersection was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, request was referred to the City Engineer and <br />Street Commissioner, to report back next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, request of Assistance League of Orange County <br />for permission to sell Christmas greens and w~eaths, <br />was granted, and Clerk to notify them of Council action <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, request of President of Edison P.T.A. that <br />stop sign be placed at intersection of Orange and St. <br />Gertrude Place was referred to City Engineer and Street <br />Commissioner to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Communication from Mrs. Winifred Triplett requesting <br /> <br />removal of acacia tree at 606 So. Main St. was read. <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and <br /> was <br />carried, Clerk instructed to advise Mrs. Triplett that <br /> <br />this tree may be removed at her own expense if she so <br />desires. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />Requests from Montgomery Ward and Southern Pacific Co. <br />for thirty day extensions of time on payment of City <br />sales tax and of General Motors Acceptance Corporation <br />for a permanent fifteen-day extension of time on <br />of sales tax w~re read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried requests for extension of time on payment of <br />City sales tax granted and Clerk instructed to advise <br />them of Council action. <br /> <br />295 <br /> <br /> <br />
