294 In Re Lease covering space Headquarters Building W. 8th St. American Red Cross In Re ~arrant M.I{.Whittter Co. 1946-194V Taxes S.A.A.A.Bo ~na. establishing a no parking zone on the east side of Bush Street between 6th and 7th Sts. located as follows: the North 14 feet of the South 60.feet, was introduced, read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3519 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Otto R. Haan, W. Eugene Dixon, Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. None Dale G. Deckert. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, the Chairman of the Board and Clerk were authorized to execute lease between City of Santa Aha and Southern Orange County Chapter, American Red Cross, when app~ova~ has been secured from City Attorney; lease dated December 1Bth, 1946 and is for a period of two and one-half years with option to renew for an additional two and one-half years, covering leasing of east wing of the first floor consisting of Rooms Nos. 102 to 118, inclusive, at Headquarters Building, West Eighth Street. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, inasmuch as notice by letter has been received from the M.H.~nittier Company that they have paid the 1946-1947 taxes on the Santa Ana Army Air Base property, a warrant for such taxes was ordered sent to M.H.Whittier Company, in the amount of $3,25?.02, in reimbursement, in accordance with their lease with the City of Santa Aha which requires the City to pay such taxes. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, the City Council adjourned to Monday, November 2§th, 1948, at V:30 P.M., in the Council Chambers. City Council met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by Present: Trustees Otto R. Haan, W. Eugene Dixon, W.J. Cheney, Asa Hoffman Absent: Trustees Dale G. Deckert.
