On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Haan and carried, the findings of the Planning Commission were accepted and Clerk instructed to publish a notice of public hearing, setting date of hearing as of December 16th, 1946, covering the proposed amendment. Ana~ 1946, On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, two certified copies of Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, Californi~ stating the result of the canvass of election returns of the Special City of Santa Ana Bond Election held pursuant to Ordinance No. 1183 of the City of Santa adopted by the Board of Supervisors November 13, were received and filed. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, two certified copies of Resolution of the cf Supervisors of the County of Orange, California, stating the result of the canvass of absent voters ballots cast at the Special Election of the City of Santa Aha held November 5th, 1946, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1183 of said City, and stating the result of said election, adopted by the Board of Supervisors November 23rd, 1946, were received and filed. ,, A certification of the results of the measures voted upon November 5th, 1946 at a special municipal election consolidated with the general elections of the same date having been received from the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, the matter of the results of said elections were declared the next order of business It was moved by Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney that it appearing that the total vote upon the Santa Aha Cit Charter Measure was 5425 for and ?922 against, the said measure is hereby declared defeated. Motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Haan, aeconded by Cheney that it appearing that the total vote upon the Santa Ana Recreation Proposition was 7225 for and 6062 against, the measure is hereby declared passed and that Ordinance No. 1188 Establishing a Recreation Department for the City of Santa Ana under Management of a Recreation Commission Consisting of Seven Members; Prescribing the Manner of Appointment of said Members; Prescribing
