Gross for re-instatement to his prewar <br />position as Detective with attendant increase in pay <br />retroactive to September 1st, 1946 and stating that an <br />eligible list will be created for position as Detective <br />for future official appointment, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication was received and filed. <br /> <br />Copy of communication from Wire Chief addressed to Civil <br />Service Board stating that following members of Fire <br />Department have completed their probationary period; <br />George Berry, Kenneth Fowler, Gilbert Cbittock, Norman <br />Garrett, Byron Quivey, Them Neyer, Homer Henderson, <br />J.$.Spalding, Iven L. Meyer, Robert Motley, and letter <br />from Civil Service Board recommending permanent appoint- <br />ments of these employees to position of HOsemen; also <br />recommending permanent appointment of following named <br />employees to position of patrolmen in Police Department; <br />Shelby L. Bryson, Franklin Carter, Clarence F. Johnson, <br />Jack B. Lentz, John E. Pilgrim, Joe M. Reeves, Charles <br />W. Ryel, Mr~est B. Graeber and Delbert D.
