<br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and
<br />carried, report of Diehl & Company, public accountants,
<br />covering examination of books and accounts of City of
<br />Santa Ana for fiscal year beginning July l, 1945 and
<br />ending June 30, 1946, was accepted, received and filed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and
<br />carried, repor~ of Police Department and of Juvenile
<br />Bureau, for the month of November, 1946, were received
<br />and filed.
<br />
<br />The Clerk read a petition signed by approximately 132
<br />residents requesting bus service on North Ross or on
<br />North Van Ness from 1Vth Street or Washington Avenue.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and
<br />carried, petition w~s referred to C.H.Eckles, owner of
<br />Santa Aha Bus Co. with request that he report to Council,
<br />by letter, as to request of petitione~rs for bus service.
<br />
<br />Pursuant to Resolution of Intention, the Clerk read the
<br />offer of Glenn C. Bailey to purchase the following
<br />
<br />described property:
<br /> All of Lot "A", Tract No. 681, as per map thereof
<br /> recorded in Book 20, Page 32, of Miscellaneous
<br /> Naps, Records of Orange County, California, except
<br /> the following:
<br /> The Ea.~terly l0 feet;
<br /> The Westerly 60 feet of the Easterly 315 feet;
<br /> The Westerly 60 feet of the Easterly 620 feet; and
<br /> the Easterly 80 feet of the Westerly 255 feet,
<br /> which exceptions are hereby remerved and dedicated
<br /> by the City of Santa Aha for street purposes,
<br />
<br />located in the City of Santa Ana, in the amount of
<br />$1,847.00.
<br />
<br />No person being present desirous of rsistng the bid of
<br />Glenn C. Bailey, on m~tion of Trustee Haan, seconded by
<br />Deckert and carried, the Resolution for Sale of Real
<br />Property was read, considered, designated Resolution
<br />No. 3529 and passed by the following vote:

<br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and
<br />carried, Map Tract No. llgl was approved subject to the
<br />filing of improvement bond, approved by the City Engineer
<br />and Attorney and the approval of the map in writing by
<br />the Engineer.

<br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and
<br />carried, inasmuch as Smith-Booth Usher Co. neglected
<br />through inadvertence to include bid deposit with bid,
<br />but submitted a proper check promptly and before the
<br />
<br />
