In Re Appointments Civic Center Co~nittee In Re Appointments Recreation Commission In I~e Ordinance Amending Zoning Ord. lOV4. "C" District Provisions In Re Resol. No. 0850 Declarin~ Central Traffic Districts bids were considered by the Committee, that the report of the committee be accepted and the contract awarded to Smith-Booth Usher Co., in the amount of $~,855.00, and Clerk authorized to return checks of unsuccessful bidders. The Chairman of the Board recommended the appointment as a committee, for the Civic Center~ G. Millard Parks~ H.J.Neighbour and ~.J.Cheney, to cooperate with Board of Supervisors Civic Center Committee and on motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, the recommendation of the Chairman was approved.and sppolnt- ments confirmed. The Chairman of the Board recommended the appointment of Mrs. Quessie Anderson, Judge Kenneth E. Morrison and Lawrence Patterson as members of the Recreation Co~isslon and Council recommended appointment of Rev. F. '~V. Ntedringhaus and Courtney R. Chandler, as members of such Comm~sslon. On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and carried, recommendations were approved and appointments confirmed. This being the date set for public hearing on the amendment of the Use Districting Ordinance by the addition of "C" District Provisions and no written or oral protests having been received, on motio~ of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance Amending Ordinance No. lO~, For Convenience Known as: "Zoning Ordinance of 19 59" which Ordinance will amend said Zoning Ordinance to effectuate the following purposes: (1) Creating a new district classification and adding regulations applicable to such district classification to be known as "C" District", (local neighborhood shopping dlstrict ~ (2) Making other minor amendments which are necessary and incidental to adding the regulations applicable to the "C" District, was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Declaring Central Traffic Districts in.the City of Santa Ana" was tntroSuced, read~ considered, designated Resolution No. 3~30 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees Otto R. Haan, W. Eugene Dixon, Dale G. Deckert, W. J. Cheney, Asa Ho ffman.
