Master Highway Plan, revisdng the land use ordinance and taking care of routine planning matters; all under the direction and supervision of the City Planning Cormntssion. On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution Concerning Parking Limitations Under Ordinance No. 1030" establishing a loading zone on the south side of ~Yest Walnut Stree between Patton and Flower Streets, located as follows: the westerl 90 feet of the easterly ll? feet, was read, considered, designated Resolution No. 3443 and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Tr~stees Dale G. Deckert, Otto R. Hash, W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. None Noes, Trustees Absent, Trustees W. Eugene Dixon On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, app- lication of Edward A. White to conduct the business of dealing in motor vehicles at ll4 South Main Street, was granted and Clerk authorized to issue license. On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha, California, Ordering, Calling, and Providing for and Giving Notice of a Special Election to be held in said City on Tuesday, April 9, 1948, for the Purpose of Submitting to the Qualified Voters of said City Four Propositions to Incur Bonded Indebtedness by said City for Certain Municipal Improvements" was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second reading. On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, peEnission was granted Ira W. Shires to conduct a pool hall at 417 Bush Street. On recommendation of the Committee and on motion of Trustee Cheney seconded by Deckert and carried, the City Engineer was instructed to install a street light at the intersection of Washington and ~estwood Avenues. No written or oral protests were received against the ohange of zone from R-1 and R-2 Districts to C-2 business district on property described as follows: Lots 4, 8, 6 and 7, Block "A" Tract No. $11, being located on north side of Roe Drive back of Weber Baking Co., at 2856 North Main St., in accordance with the application of Weber Baking Company. On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to prepare necessary 0r~inance covering the change of zone of this property.
