Deckert, Otto R. Hash, <br /> W.J.Cheney, Asa Hoffman. <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />W. Eugene Dixon <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Cheney and carried, app- <br />lication of Edward A. White to conduct the business of dealing in <br />motor vehicles at ll4 South Main Street, was granted and Clerk <br />authorized to issue license. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Deckert and carried, the <br />following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha, California, <br /> Ordering, Calling, and Providing for and Giving <br /> Notice of a Special Election to be held in said <br /> City on Tuesday, April 9, 1948, for the Purpose of <br /> Submitting to the Qualified Voters of said City Four <br /> Propositions to Incur Bonded Indebtedness by said <br /> City for Certain Municipal Improvements" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on file for second <br />reading. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Chief of Police and on motion of Trustee <br />Deckert, seconded by Haan and carried, peEnission was granted <br /> <br />Ira W. Shires to conduct a pool hall at 417 Bush Street. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Committee and on motion of Trustee Cheney <br />seconded by Deckert and carried, the City Engineer was instructed <br />to install a street light at the intersection of Washington <br />and ~estwood Avenues. <br /> <br />No written or oral protests were received against the ohange of <br />zone from R-1 and R-2 Districts to C-2 business district on <br />property described as follows: Lots 4, 8, 6 and 7, Block "A" <br />Tract No. $11, being located on north side of Roe Drive back of <br />Weber Baking Co., at 2856 North Main St., in accordance with the <br />application of Weber Baking Company. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br />the City Attorney was instructed to prepare necessary 0r~inance <br />covering the change of zone of this property. <br /> <br /> <br />
