Center Bldg, <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids <br /> <br />Cast Iron Pipe <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids <br /> <br />Comb.pumping engine <br /> <br />a hose wagon (fire equip.) <br /> <br />327 <br /> <br />year~, at the Community Center Building, West Eighth <br />Street. <br /> <br />On motion o~ Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Chairman of the Board end Clerk were author. <br />ized to execute lease between City of Santa Aha and <br />State of California, National Guard, covering leasing <br />of space described as basement west wing, comprising <br />approximately B,O?8. sq. ft. and that wooden constructed <br />building described as Enlisted Men's Mess Hall, <br />comprising approximately 4,0B8 sq. ft., for a period of <br />five years beginning January let, 1947 and ending <br />December ~lst, 1~51, at a total rental of $10,500.00, <br />at the Community Center Building, West Eighth Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Chancy and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to open bids covering <br />furnishing of kitchenware, to be used at the Officer's <br />Club, Community Center Building, W. 8th Street~ as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> Bid of Long Beach Store Fixture Co. in the amount <br /> of $1,883.75, California sales tax to be added. <br /> Certified check in the amount of $168.58 accompanied <br /> bid° <br /> <br /> Bid of Sugarman Equipment Company, quoting prices on <br /> portion of advertised kitchenware.
