Council of Churches <br /> <br />Council Chamber <br /> <br />Santa Ana City Hall <br /> <br />September lSth, 1947. <br /> <br />7:80 P.: <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, Minutes of the Executive Board of the Joint <br />Outfall Sewer meeting held at Anaheim, Sept. 4, 1947, <br />were read and Clerk instructed to write the Board of <br />Supervisors notifying them that the Council is in favor <br />of the County-wide Sanitation District subject to the <br />approval of the people. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Chandler and <br />carried, Minutes of the Executive Board of the Joint <br />0utfall Sewer meeting were approwed, received and filed <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication from C.H.Eckles, owner, Santa <br />Aha Bus Service expressing thanks to the Council and <br />City Engineer for their cooperation in placing benches <br />on city streets for use of bus patrons, was received an( <br />filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carrie¢ <br /> communication from Laura Scott Pa~ks, relative to <br /> increase in bus fares was received and filed and Clerk <br /> instructed to send copy of letter to C.H.Eckles, owner, <br /> Santa Aha Bus Co. for comment. <br /> <br />Request of 8ants Aha Council of Churches that bus zone <br />on No. Broadway at Spurgeon Methodist Church be trans- <br />ferred to the northeast corner of Birch and 6th Streets, <br />using the two parallel parking stalls on 6th Bt., neares <br />Birch St., was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by ChaPlet an~~ <br /> <br /> <br />
