No. 5620 <br /> Accepting Deed <br /> <br />Wm.L. Vo~ et ux <br />!(Bristol at. Bridge) <br /> <br />from R-2 to C-2 District, in accordance with applicatior <br />of Gabina Solis, and no written or oral protests having <br />been received, on motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded <br />by Cheney and carried, the City Attorney was instructed <br />to prepare Ordinance covering this amendment. <br /> <br />Messrs. A.L.Oliver, 0.W.Krebs and Malcolm Towner <br />appeared before the Council protesting amendment <br />application of W. T. Reetz to change the property <br />between Delhi Road and Central Avenue and from the <br />Pacific Electric tracks westerly to the west line of <br />Blocks "B" and "C" of the tract known as South Santa <br />Aha, from the R-1 and R-2 districts to the M-1 district. <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and carrie~ <br />communication and Resolution No. 168 of the Planning <br />Commission denying amendment application to change the <br /> <br />above described property to <br />ance with application of W. <br />application denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, <br /> <br />the M-1 District, in accord- <br />T. Reetz, were approved and <br /> <br />seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />carried, application of Chester N. Kerley and A. C. <br />Gillespie to conduct the business of dealing in motor <br />vehicles at 1028 So. Main St., was granted and Clerk <br />authorized to issue license and deposit application <br />fee of $200.00. <br /> <br />A petition was read signed by eleven residents in the <br />vicinity of Third and Shelton Sts., protesting install- <br />ation of a telephone near the curb at ll04 West 3rd St. <br />which is used by the Broadway Cab Co. for the purpose <br />of dispatching taxis. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and <br />carried, matter was referred to Taxicab Committee for <br />investigation and to report back. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution Accepting Deed Granting an Easement <br /> for the Purpose of Building and Maintaining a <br /> Public Bridge and Street" <br /> <br />from William L. Vose and Clara E. Vose, husband and wif, <br />conveying an easement for all purposes and uses of <br />building and maintaining a public bridge and a public <br />street in, over, along, upon and across Bristol Street, <br />was read, considered, designated'~esolution No. 3620 and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees W.J. Cheney, Courtney R. Chandler, <br /> Allen A. Mandy, Virgil H. Reed, <br /> R. Carson Smith. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None <br /> <br /> <br />
