Carson Smith. <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and <br />the Council recessed for five minutes. <br /> <br />carrie~ <br /> <br />Communication was read from Citrus Growers requesting <br />renewal of lease covering property located at Delhi <br />for~the period Jan. 1st, 1948 to Dec. 31st, 1948 for <br />the purpose of conducting a Mexican National Camp to <br />handle the harvest. <br /> <br />Geo. A. Graham, Secy-Mgr. of Citrus Growers, James A. <br />Baker and W.F.Croddy appeared before the Council reques~ <br />that lease be renewed and urging continuation of camp.. <br />Messrs. Abernathy ~and Carrillo, living in the area, <br />opposed renewal of lease covering operation of camp. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carrie~ <br />Auditor was instructed to negotiate lease with Citrus <br />Growers for period of one year. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, <br />carried, the City Council <br /> <br />seconded by Mandy and <br /> <br />adjourned. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order by Mayor Smith. <br /> <br />Present: 'Trustees Courtney R.
