Bradley, Attorney <br />stating that Clerk of the Superior Court has advised <br />that E.D. Wheeler's petition for hearing has been denie <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and <br />carried, communication was received and filed. <br /> <br />Communication from City Attorney was read relative to <br />legality of taxicab stands. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and <br />carried, matter was referred to Clerk to discuss <br />situation with Lieutenant Nielson of Police Dept. for <br />enforcement of Ordinance No. 982 and Broadway Cab Co. <br />to be notified to remove taxicab stand at 3rd and <br />Shelton Streets. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, <br /> <br />carried, the payroll demands as <br />Committee were approved. <br /> <br />seconded by Reed and <br />audited by the Finance <br /> <br />Committee reported that more than 81% of the property <br />owners reKidlng in territory contiguous to the City of <br />Santa Aha and Santa Aha Army Air Base property have <br />signed petitions protesting against annexation, on <br />motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Chandler and <br />carried, petition to annex this property to the City of <br />Santa Aha was denied and election to annex territory <br />was cancelled. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Mandy and <br /> <br />.carried, the City Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
