<br />April 8th, 1947.
<br />
<br />"A Resolution providing for holding a
<br />genera£ municipal election in the City
<br />of Santa Ana, California, on the 8th
<br />day of April, 1947, for the election of
<br />City Officers in said City and voting
<br />upon propositions, giving notice of said
<br />election, designating the polling places,
<br />the hours during which the polls shall be
<br />opened, the officers to be elected, and
<br />appointing election officers to serve at
<br />said election"

<br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Oheney and
<br />carried, the Mayor was authorized to execute lease on
<br />behalf of the City to the Co~uAty of Orange, for the
<br />Teletype Building, 1108 West 8th St., on the following
<br />ter~s - lease to be dated March 1st, 1947, for term of
<br />five (5) years, rentai $600,00 per month; lights, heat,
<br />ordinary Janitor service and maintenance of exterior of
<br />building t$ be taken care of by City, the County to take
<br />care of any changes or repairs to inside of building.
<br />Other provisions to be same as standard lease form used
<br />by City for Co---unity Center leases.

<br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Deckert and
<br />carried, the Mayor was authorized to execute appendage
<br />to lease of February let, 1947 with the County of Orange,
<br />covering leasing of certain rooms in the Community Center
<br />Building, which appendage provides for certain rental
<br />refunds as to rooms not now available for occupancy.

<br />Comm,mication of the Housing Committee requesting con-
<br />sideration for an increase in the saAary of ~he Manager
<br />of Casa De Santa Ana,wqe read.
<br />
<br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and
<br />carried, the Chairman of tho Board was directed to
<br />contact the Housing Committee relative to this request.
