Deckert, W.J.Cheney, <br /> Asa Hcffman. <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />On motion cf Trustee Haan, <br /> <br />carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance of the City of Santa Aha <br /> fixing the compensation of certain <br /> elective officers of said City and <br /> repealing Ordinance No. Al??" <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and placed on <br />for second reading. <br /> <br />seconded by Cheney and <br /> <br />file <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by Haan and <br /> <br />carried, Wm. C. Jerome, as City Auditor and fiscal <br />was instructed to <br />agent for City/make application to State Controller <br /> <br />and other proper authorities for Santa Ana's <br />allocated share of the $90,O00,O00post war construct- <br />ion fund set apart by the State of California. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, all cars and equipment of the City of Santa <br />Ana shall bear the City of Santa Ana emblem, with <br />the exception of Police Department cars. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br />carried, every regular city employee working forty <br />hours per week or more and drawing a salary less than <br />$$00.00 per month be given a SZO.O0 per month bonus <br />cost-of-living allowance in addition to their present <br />salary for the period of time from February let to <br />July 1st, 1947 inclusive. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Chairman of the Board was authorized to <br />contact an architect to draw plans for proposed fire <br />station to be located in the south part of the City <br />and report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and <br /> <br />carried, the City Council adjourned to Thursday, <br />February 6th, 1947, at 4:00 P.M., in the Council <br /> <br />ChoM~erSe <br /> <br /> <br />
