Rankin requesting <br /> that a law be passed prohibiting dogs from running <br /> loose, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the comittee and on motion of <br /> Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, an overhead <br /> street light was ordered installed at the intersection <br /> of Heliotrope Drive and Santa Clara Avenue. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> A Resolution f~om Recreation Conmaission requesting use <br /> of Officers Club, Post Exchange and Connnunications <br /> Building on West Eighth St., for public recreational <br /> purposes, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, Resolution was received and filed and Chairman <br />of the Board authorized to w~ite members of Recreation <br />Comisston and advise them that prior to their request <br />these buildings were rented for a period of five years <br />with the exception of the 0fficerts Club which has been <br />equipped to serve banquets. <br /> <br />Communication from Secy. Orange County Farm Bureau <br />requesting that parking spaces be reserved at the rear and <br />sides of building for employees of offices so that the <br />public may be able to use the more convenient parking <br />spaces near the entrance of the Santa Aha Community <br />Building, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Haan and <br />carried, Chairman of the Board was authorized to notify <br />regular tenants of the building to park at the rear and <br />sides of the Santa Aha Comm, mity Building, permitting <br />the parking spaces at entrance to building to be avail- <br />able for the general public. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, notifications of the State Board of Equalization <br />of alcoholic beverage applications made by Joe G. Islas <br />and Henry B. Ortega, dba Waldorf Dutch Lunch, 316 E. <br /> <br />4th St., Joe P. Larriva, 1810 W. 4th St., Clair G. <br /> <br />Martin dba Trade Winds, 212 E. 4th St., and Florence N. <br /> <br />& Naiden Mirchoff dba Buffalo Inn, 323 W. 4th St., were <br />received and filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
