Roy F. Bowers for a "no parkin <br />sign" on Poinsettia Street extending north from <br />Washington Avenue to the north boundary of the Washlngt <br />Court Apartments, was referred to the Chief of Police <br />and Fire Chief to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Communication from Orange County Water District express- <br />ing aatisfactio= with their quarters at the Santa Ana <br />Community Center and requesting authorization to move <br />the partition of Room 223 approximately eight feet to <br />the west and stating that they will not need Room 72 <br />in the immediate future, was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dixon, seconded by Deckert and <br />carried, matter was referred to Chairman of the Board <br />with power to act. <br /> <br />Request of H.B.Riggan for permission to lengthen one <br /> <br />of his driveways, approximately 12 feet, at service <br />station located at 1221 E. 1st St., was read and on <br />motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Dixon and carried <br />request was referred to Street Superintendent and Stree <br />Commissioner tO report back at.the next meeting. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carrie. <br /> <br />bond No. 123058, dated Feb. 12th, 1947, of Stanton <br />House Movers, written by the General Casualty Company of <br /> <br />America, in the amount of $1,000.00, was approved. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of <br />Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids covering the <br />furnishing of one motor driven, pick up street sweeper; <br />bids to be opened March 3rd, 1947. <br /> <br /> <br />
