Andrews Place, in connection with his business <br />lots on Main Street,were approved. <br /> <br />Communication and Resolution No. 118 of the Planning <br />Commission recommending amendment to Zoning Ordinance <br />by changing the existing business districts at the four <br />corners of l?th St. and Bristol St. and l?th and Grand <br />Avenue from the C-1 classification to the "C" District, <br />were read and on motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by <br />Cheney and carried, the Clerk was instructed to publish <br />a notice of hea~ing in a newspaper of general circulation, <br />ten days prior to the next ne eting of the Council on <br />April ?th, 1947. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />Communication and Resolution No. 117 of the Planning <br />Commission recommending amendment to Zoning Ordinance <br />by reclassifying four lots at the southeast corner of <br />Fairview and Bristol Street from R-1 to the "C" District, <br />in accordance with application of Ben D. Pennington, <br />were read and on motion of Trustee Cheney, seconded by <br />Haan and carried, the Clerk was instructed to publish a <br />notice of hearing in a newspaper of general circulation, <br />ten days prior to the next meeting of the Council on <br />April 7th, 19~?, relative to reclassification of above <br />property. <br /> <br />The report of the committee recommending that all bids <br />received for vitrified clay sewer pipe be rejected and <br />that bidder's bonds be returned, was read and on motion <br />of Trustee Haan, seconded by Dixon and carried, <br />recommendation was accepted~ and bids rejected. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of <br />Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and carried, the <br />Purchasing Agent was authorized to purchase "Soundscriber" <br />for use in the Police Department, at price quoted less <br />excise tax. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Deckert, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, the Purchasing Agent was authorized to purchase <br />traffic signals to be installed at the intersection of <br />Chestnut and Main Streets, at a price not to exceed <br />$1,000.00 per signal. <br /> <br /> <br />
