Sandkamp <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Variance ADplication <br /> <br />Vic Silver <br /> <br />Communication from Frank Musselman stating that he was <br />rendered a bill in the amount of $160.00, from the City <br />of Santa Ana, for damages done to the City lighting <br />system, when work was being performed covering the <br />installation of a conveyor shaft at 316 French Street, <br />was read. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and <br />carried, matter was referred to a committee consisting <br />of Trustee Cheney and Mayor, with power to act. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Taxicab Committee and on <br />motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and carried, <br />application of Clark Shaw for permit to operate the <br />"Black & Green Cab", formerly owned and operated by <br />J.B.Mo~alice an~l R.C.Winchell, was granted providing <br />policy of insurance is submitted. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication and Resolution No. 127 of the <br />Planning Commission, granting the variance application <br />of Frank J. McClernon to reduce the rear yard at 1078 <br />West 8th St., from 20 feet to 10 feet in connection <br />with construction of a residence in the rear of a <br />business building, were approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication and Resolution No. 124 of the <br />Planning Commission, granting the variance application <br />of Beth Sholom Temple to reduce the rear yard at the <br />southeast corner of Bush and 8th Streets from ten feet <br />to three feet in connection with the construction of a <br />socia~ hall, were approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication and Resolution No. 123 of the <br />Planning Commission, granting the variance application <br />of Joseph L. Sandkamp to permit the establishment of an <br />apartment over a garage in the R-1 District in addition <br />to an existing residence at 617 Orange Avenue, were <br />app roved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, communication and Resolution No. 128 of the <br />Planning Commission, granting the variance application <br />of Vic Silver to conduct a watch repair and sales <br /> <br />business <br /> <br />Bush St., <br /> <br />in one room of his residence at 1625 North <br />were approved. <br /> <br /> <br />
