Chandler, <br /> Allen A. Mandy, Virgil H. Reed, <br /> R. Carson Smith. <br /> <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> <br /> Absent, Trustees None <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Taxicab Committee and on motion <br />of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, bus stop <br />was ordered moved from the south side of East Third <br />Street to the west side of Bush Street, south of the <br />exit of the theatre and north of the driveway entrance <br />to parking lot and Clerk instructed to notify Santa Ana <br />Bus Co. of this action. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Cheney and <br />carried, application of Robert G. Sturges, dba Rainbow <br />Cab Co. for additional taxicab stand to be located at <br />202 North Sycamore Street, was referred to Trustee Reed <br />to report back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Communication from E.L.Sargent <br /> <br />to build a new store at 631 So. <br /> <br />and stating his willingness to <br /> <br />to correspond with new market building if City would <br /> <br />reimburse him in the <br />On motion of Trustee <br />carried, request was <br /> <br />stating that he intends <br />Main St. for V.J.Borchard <br />cut 5 feet off the front <br /> <br />advise Mr. Sargent of this action. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, <br />carried, reservations for the <br /> <br />seconded by Mandy and <br />Officer's Club, W. 8th <br /> <br />St., were ordered turned over to Harold Teel, Director <br />Recreation Department for maximum use and rental; <br />utilities and Janitorial services to be paid by the City <br />and all monies collected from rentals to be deposited in <br />the General Fund of the City. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Mandy, seconded by Reed and carried, <br /> <br />Trustee Chandler was authorized to have doors constructed <br /> <br />making three separate units in the Officer's Club, W. <br />8th St., and fence constructed enclosing patio adjacent <br /> <br />t her e t o. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Communication from George E. Bradley, former City <br />Attorney, relative to enlarging City sales tax exemption <br />relative to out-of-city delivery, so that the same <br />would include bona fide deliveries of motor vehicles <br />which are delivered out of the city under their own <br />power, was received and filed. <br /> <br />amount of $8,000.00 was ~ea~. <br />Mandy, seconded by Cheney and <br />denied and Attorney instructed to <br /> <br /> <br />
