RESOLUTION NO. <br /> }7EXAT!ON TO CITY OF SANTA ANA OF Ti!AT CERTAIN UNI~A~tTED <br /> TERRITORY DESCRIBED i~RE!N AND DESIGnaTED "~ST 0F SANTIAGO <br /> ANI'~X~ AiO GIVING NOTICE OFT IME AI~ PLACE FOR !~ARING OF <br /> PROTESTS THEf~T0 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California <br />has approved the description of certain real property as herein set <br />out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commission of Santa <br />Ana has approved the annexation of said territory; and <br /> <br /> WHIEREAS, the owners of said real property have filed a petition <br />with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Aha, <br />California annex said real property, stating that the same is unin- <br />habited, consenting in writing that said real property may be taxed to <br />pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to <br />such annexation; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all of said <br />territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Terri- <br />tory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is <br />deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 registered voters resid- <br />ing in it on September 6, 19~, the date when said petition was filed, <br />that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, California, <br />lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly boundary <br /> line of the City of Santa Aha with the Westerly risht of way line <br /> of Sant~aoo Street (60 feet in width) as now established, an~ <br /> running thence from said point_of beginning, S. 88° 39' ~0" ~., <br /> along said City boundary line ~39.~1 feet to the ~est line of <br /> that certain tract of land conveyed by ~argaret Cummings to <br /> John A. Enge! as described in Deed recorded in Book 186, Page <br /> 209, Records of Orange County, California, said West line also <br /> being the West line of Parcel 2, as described in Deed to Emma L. <br /> Roberts and Ray B. Roberts, recorded in Book 760, Page 261, of <br /> Official Records of said Orange County; thence N. 1° 2~' 20" E., <br /> along said West line, 670.54 feet to the Northwest corner of <br /> said Parcel 2 referred to above, said Northwest corner also <br /> beinM in the Southerly line of the right of way acquired by the <br /> Pacific Electric Railway Company and later conveyed to Roger R. <br /> Engel, et al, by a Quit Claim Deed recorded in Book 1408, Page <br /> <br /> 0 E., along s d ut y <br /> Southerly line of the right of way conveyed by Quit C~aim Deeds <br /> to R.
