Book 15, Page 397 <br /> <br />cc: MWD <br /> Pub Wks <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 56-243 OF TiiE CITY COUNCIL 0F <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, REQUESTING CONSTRUCTION OF <br />A WATER SERVICE CONNECTION BY THE METROPOLITAN <br />'~ATER DISTRICT OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, UPON THE <br />TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRESCRIBED IN RESOLUTION 4849 <br />OF ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a request has been made on behalf of the City of <br />Santa Aha, hereinafter designated "Gity", that a service connection <br />be constructed upon the Orange County feeder of The Metropolitan <br />Water District of Southern California, hereinafter designated <br />"Metropolitan", at the intersection of Talbert Avenue and Bristol <br />Street, for delivery of water by Metropolitan to City for use <br />within City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Metropolitan at its <br />meeting on August 14, 1956, adopted its Resolution 4849 authoriz- <br />ing the construction of said service connection upon the terms <br />and conditions fixed in said Resolution, a certified copy of which <br />Resolution has been received by City; and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, it is proper, under the policy of Metropolitan, <br />that such service connection be constructed at the expense, of City <br />and without cost to Metropolitan upon the terms and conditions set <br />out in Metropolitan's said Resolution; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: <br /> <br /> 1. The certified copy of Metropolitan's said Resolution <br />referred to in the recitals hereof is ordered filed in the Office <br />of the Clerk of the Council, attached to this Resolution No. <br /> <br /> 56-243 <br /> <br /> 2. Metropolitan is requested to construct the service con- <br />nection referred to in the recitals of this Resolution and such <br />construction is authorized on behalf of City in the manner and <br /> <br />upon the <br /> <br />lution. <br /> <br /> 3. <br /> <br />costs of providing, <br /> <br />terms and conditions prescribed in Metropolitan's Reso- <br /> <br />City agrees to pay, or reimburse to Metropolitan, all <br /> constructing, and installing said service <br /> <br /> <br />
