City of Santa Aha, lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as: Beginning at the intersection of the northeasterly right- of-way line of Delhi Road with the northwesterly right-of- 9°3may line of Red Hill Avenue and running thence North 48' 40" east 2,641.40 feet more or less along said northwesterly line of Red Hill Avenue to the northeasterly right-of-way line of Valencia Aven~e; thence north 50° 09' 55" west along said northeasterly line of Valencia Avenue 627.00 feet; thence north 39° 48' 40" east 580.00 feet; thence south 50° 09' 55" east 627.00 feet to said north- westerly line of Red Hill Avenue; thence north 39° 48' 40" east along said northwesterly line of Red Hill Avenue 1,981.52 feet more or less to the southwesterly right-of- line of the A.T. & S.F. Railroad; thence north 50° 10' ~ west along said southwesterly line of the railroad 2,290.77 feet more or less to a point which is south 50° 10' 50" east 290.00 feet from the southeasterly riEht-of-way line of Newport Avenue; thence south 39° 4~' 5~" west 300.00 feet; thence north 50° 10' 50" west 290.00 feet to the south- easterly right-of-way line of Newport Avenue; thence south 39° 48' 55" west along said southeasterly line of Newport Avenue to its intersection with the southerly prolongation of the ~esterly right-of-way line of Richey Street; thence north 0v 31' 00" east along said westerly line of Richey Street and its southerly prolongation to a point which is north 0° 31' 00" east 233.11 feet from the northwesterly right-of-way line of Newport Avenue; thence south.89° 4~' 53" west 1,131.68 feet to the Santa Ana City boundary, thence south 0° 31' 50" west along said city boundary 1,282.07 feet more or less to the north right-of-way line of Delhi Road; thence south 89° 20' 15" east 267.03 feet to the northwesterly right-of-way line of Newport Ave.; thence north 39° 48' 55" east along said northwesterly~line of Newport Avenue to its point of intersection with the north- westerly prolongation of the northeasterly right-of-way line of Delhi Road as it exists southeasterly from Newport Avenue; thence south 50° 10' 05" east along said north- easterly line of Delhi Road and its northwesterly prolonga- tion to the point of beginning. Bearings and distances are as shown on a licensed surveyor's map filed in Book 34, Page 17, Record of Survey in the Of- lice of the County Recorder of Orange County, California. That "Delhi and Newport Annex" is hereby designated as an appropriate name for said annexation. That said Council hereby declares its intention to and it will annex said territory to and include it within the Santa Ana Ele- mentary School District, Santa Ana High School District and Santa Ana Junior College District and upon the completion of said annexa- tion, said territory shall be and become a part of said School Districts.
