Flower <br /> <br />described property. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Jerome, <br />seconded by Hunter and Carried, the bid of the South coast Oonstructior <br />Company, in the amount of $286,750.00, as set out in Proposal #1, and <br />eliminating ~roposal #2 (Basement alternate), was accepted, to construcit <br />Headquarter Fire Station at the southeast corner Sycamore and Walnut <br />Streets, and all otherlbids were rejected. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Hunter and carried, the <br />communications from the County Auditor showing Santa Ana City ValuationS <br />fo~ 1951-52 and assessed valuations for 1951-52, were received and file~. <br />Joe Harden, 1431 W. Sth st. presented an additional petition signed by :i <br />twenty-nin~ residents in the vicinity of the Franklin School requesting! <br />a ~roasing guard at the Fourth and Pacific school crossing. On motion~ <br />oflTrustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the Chief of Police <br />was authorized to purchase such State signs as he deems necessary to <br />guard the school crossings. On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by <br />Jerome and carried, the petitions requesting a crossing guard at the <br />Franklin School were received and filed. <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the recomme~l- <br />ation of the committee was approved and a crossing guard was authorized <br />for the Wilshire and South Flower Street school crossing. <br /> <br /> <br />
