Woods expressing appreciation to <br />the Police Department for their efficiency in investigating a <br />which occurred at his place of business and on motion of T~ustee <br />Martin, seconded by Reed and carried, communication was received and <br />filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chandler, seconded by Reed and carried, copy of <br />Minutes of the Board of Supervisors, dated January 30, 1951, <br />request submitted by Resolution No. 4036 covering improvement cf <br /> <br />pomtionsof Edinger and Bristol Streets, was received and filed. <br /> # <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and earried, memorandum <br />cf Opinion No. 55205, of Robert Gardner, Judge of the Superior Court, <br />reference case of Thcs. E. Davis et al versus City of Santa Aha, was <br />received and filed. <br /> <br />A petition was read signed by thirteen employees of the Sanitary <br /> day <br />Department reference loss of salary for a fiftee~_/period, from Dec. 1 <br /> <br />to Dec. 22, 1950, when garbage and trash collections were performed <br />by Paul M. and David Johnson. On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded <br />by Martin and carried, petition was referred to Civil Service Board <br /> <br />for action. <br /># <br /> <br />Communication was read from the City Engineer advising that improve- <br />ments within the boundaries of Tract No. 1325 have been satisfacte <br />completed and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and <br />carried, the bond filed by the Hartford Accident and Indemnity <br />Company, in the sum of $4,000.00, was ordered released. <br /> <br />Communication was read from the City Engineer advising that improve- <br />ments within the boundaries of Tract No. 1380 have been sa~isfactoril <br />completed and on motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and <br />carried, the bond filed by the Fireman's Fund Indemnity Company, in <br />the sum of $9,000.00, was ordered released. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Reed, seconded by Martin and carried, copy of <br />statement of Everett E. Parks and Gates W. Burrows, Associated <br />Architects, to C.
