On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, <br /> <br />the communication was received and filed. <br />, <br />On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br /> <br />lng Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution approving Amendment to Agreement of <br /> Sale and Purchase dated February 28, 1951, and <br /> directing execution thereof" <br /> <br />between the Cities and Sanitary Districts and County Sanitation <br />Districts Nos. l, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7 and ll, was read, considered, <br />designated Resolution No. 5106 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees William Jerome, Orson N. Hunter, <br /> Milford W. Dahl, Courtney R. Chandler. <br /> Noes, Trustees None <br /> Absent, Trustees J.L.McBride <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was accepted and Tentative <br />Map of Tract No. 1562 approved upon condition that an easement five <br />feet in width along the rear lot line of each lot be shown on the <br />final map, being property bounded on the east by Lincoln Avenue and <br />on the south by Santa Clara Avenue, and is divided into forty-four <br />lots. <br /> <br />E.J.LaMere, owner of the property, requested that variance be g~anted <br />to permit completion and use of eleven dwellin~ units to be relocated <br />in the area bounded by Artesia, English, 8th and Washington Avenues. <br />Raymond Reed protested against rel~cation of the buildings. On <br />motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />denied to E.J.LaMere to permit completion and use of eleven dwelling <br />units to be relocated and to permit a reduction in the front yard <br />requirement from 60 feet to $2.5 feet from the center line of the <br />proposed westerly extension of West N~nth Street on a parcel approx- <br />imately 134 x 292.71 feet bounded on the south by the westerly <br />extension of Ninth Street and lying 125 feet west of ~rtesia Street. <br /># <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />granted to Esther Ann West to permit erection of a building in back <br />of existing garage for guest room with toilet and shower on Lots 38 <br />and 39 in Block E of Tract No. 531, which is known as 1611 South <br /> <br />Van Ness Avenue, subject to certain conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the <br />recommendation of the Planning Commission was approved and variance <br />granted to Lawrence W. Patterson to permit elimination of the rear <br />yard requirement and to permit housing and storage of trucks in <br />connection with expansion of existing business on adjoining property <br />on the west on Lots 2 and 3 in Block i of Pacific Electric <br />which is property on the south side of Fifth Street between Hesperian <br /> <br />and Pacific Streets. <br /># <br /> <br /> <br />
